Bath and Body Works- Forever Red Eau de Parfum

When Bath and Body Works was having their 2 for $20 candle promo recently, I walked passed the display for the new Forever Red Eau de Parfum. Despite having my arms full of candles, I stopped to smell the new scent which was of course cleverly located in the path of the register. I figured I'd do the usual quick sniff followed by a 2 second moment of assessment as I moved on to carry on with my purchase. But I was actually taken aback by my new discovery! For the most part, I LOVE Bath and Body Works scents... I mean who doesn't?! I don't however generally buy their Eau de Parfums. No real reason, I just don't. Usually I stick to the body sprays and buy perfume else where. However, the Forever Red for me was love at first sniff! The scent is described as a "passionate blend of pomegranate and red osmanthus with a sexy surprise of vanilla rum". I can't say that I've ever even heard of this fabulous little "osmanthus" flowering plant before but I clearly like the way it smells! The scent actually made me nostalgic for my high school days when I used to be obsessed with Escada's Ibiza Hippie and Island Kiss perfumes.

 I was told by the cashier that Forever Red is the largest perfume campaign for Bath and Body Works and that they put a ton of money into this one to make it super fab! Right now it's only available in a small .25 oz bottle for $5 but believe me, when the stores start carrying the full size, it's mine!
