So its nice to hear maybe they&#39;re not so bad afterall! ;)<br /><br />Ok so as far as the MN, I can obviously only say from my experience how it worked. I never had any breakage or shedding problems. When I first started with it, I applied it directly to my scalp daily. A week later I had unexplainable headaches that of course stopped after I stopped using the MN. But my growth rate had increased by 1/3-1/2 an inch a month. After that,I mixed it with castor oil, shea butter, and EVOO, and only used it every 3 days. That time there were no headaches. I stopped doing it because I had read somewhere that consistent use over a long period of time can cause scalp problems down the road because the MN removes healthy bacterias from your scalp as well. So I would do it for 2 months on, 1 month off, applying it every 3 days. I never had any problems. As soon as I saw the peeling, I knew I was dehydrated and began increasing the water intake right away. A week or two later my hands were no longer peeling.
